Works but only after some "work"
Using this tank on a 1987 TRX70 worked.
The mounts fit well, but the tank itself is slightly smaller than the original and required adjustments. The filler neck is also quite a bit bigger than the original metal tank and required modification of the body plastic. Even after when tightening the filler cap it contacts the body as well. But it 'works". In addition during one of the many trial fitting attempts I managed to crack the fuel outlets and had to do a makeshift repair on that as well.
Bottom line if your metal tank is rusted beyond repair, this tank will work but be prepared to :make it work".
