Solid!
I had a Vintec 573 in a "cheapo" bento box that had a 'wall-wart' power supply. There was a hum in the pre and I assumed it was the pre itself. Wrong.
I turned out to be the wimpy power supply.
I bought the Bento 6S and the pre is now DEAD QUIET. In addition to the hefty (1.6a) power supply, the case construction is very solid.
My only con would be the tiny mounting screws that come with the box. They are very small and delicate and easily stripped. I would've preferred those big fat ones that you can tighten/loosen with your fingers. A minor gripe though as I highly recommend it for any 500 series user.

Heard the rumours . . . now I know - it's all true.
Many times, I've heard about this compressor. Now that I've purchased a 500-series rack, I was lucky enough to find the FMR RNC-500 at Perfect Circuit. It is an amazingly smooth and transparent compressor. Vocals do not sound compressed . . . they sound smoother. Perfect Circuit was very fast in shipping . . . even to Canada. Very happy with this purchase.

Amazing sound.
Amazing sound. Console software has high learning curve, especially with Pro Tools. I'm hoping they will come up with a better integration.
The plugins are a little expensive, but they often have good deals on bundles.
If you record and mix "inside the box" - you need this.
