Eduard Masks for the F3U Corsair

Detailing a model aircraft canapay.
I cut a larger piece than I needed, and carefully placed the canapay in the center, and began to carefully smooth out the Bare Metal Foil. With a cocktail stick, I was able to burnish out all of the wrinkles. Then I carefully cut along the cockpit outlines and used a pointed wooden cocktail stick to remove the unwanted foil, leaving me with a clear outline to airbrush.
After the paint dried, I removed the un-wanted Bare Metal foil, cleaned the cockpit canapay with a mineral spirits on a cotton budd to remove any remaining foil adheasive, and then dried the canapay with a soft clean towel. Done !
