Extremely comprehensive guide to the marine invertebrates of South Australia, marine ecologist approved!
I am a marine ecologist based in South Australia and have studied SA marine invertebrates for five years; I can affirm that this is one of the most comprehensive field guides out there for our unique marine invertebrates! Each species has its own detailed entry, photograph(s) and a distribution map and covers all of the Phyla. My only recommendation is to check the World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS) to double-check species names as some have since been updated or renamed. The book is small enough to take on field trips and sturdy enough to withstand ocean spray and sand. Karen Gowlett-Holmes has done a fantastic job with this field guide and it will be of use to all ocean lovers!
