Not what I purchased
It was a few years after purchase that I needed to measure really high temperatures, but when I needed it for hardening steel I found that it would only go up to 650deg. not 1050 as on its label! Very disappointed.

The best quality of Chinese made equipment
I have had a few Chinese made machine tools (lathe, mills etc.) 😩over the years but this is by far the best quality machine of them all. I was very pleasantly surprised.
