The Holland Park Circle: Artists and Victorian S... by Dakers, Caroline Hardback

A must read for anyone studying Victorian painters.
Fascinating. Crammed with the results of much research yet an easy and enjoyable read. I got a good sense of her subjects.

You will ignore your devices in favour of reading Rupert Everett's fascinating memoirs.
The paperback 'Vanished Years' by Rupert Everett arrived promptly and in mint condition - thank you seller! I listened to Rupert's first memoir on Audible and read his third memoir - a gift from a friend - and loved them so much - Rupert would use the word 'adored' - I went straight from one to the other then bought 'Vanished Years' to complete the experience without a gap. His 2nd memoir doesn't disappoint. Rupert is an excellent writer. His work is all at once fascinating, interesting, literary yet as fun and easy to read as a copy of 'Hello' magazine. Rupert has had plenty of challenges in his life so the books have plenty of depth too. He's been wonderful company while I've been grappling with the challenges in my life.
