good motherboard for Opteron 4200 cpus
Need an Opteron 4100 cpu to boot up the system, then update BIOS to latest version (the only one version from supermicro website) to support the Opteron 4200 cpus. I am using a 4284 with this board, and it's fast! FYI, you need to disable the 2nd PCIEx8 in BIOS to make the 1st PCIEx8(in x16 slot) a real PCIEx16, if you want to install a PCIE2.0 x16 video card like I did.
