A Dream Goes on Forever
This CD remaster of the original "Todd" double album is alas not quite the full shilling. The artwork photo is cut down so that you don't get the same photo as they are showing here. It also doesn't include the poster of names which came with the original album (I did get this with a different CD compilation though!) . When Todd issued this album it followed on after "A Wizard A True Star" upon which he had rammed as much music as it was possible to get onto 12 inches of vinyl! Consequently it was a bit lacking in the bottom end - so the problem was entirely remedied on this album by going to 2 discs. It is all on one CD here however, and "A Dream Goes on Forever" and "Sons of 1984" etc all sound fabulous.

Traffic were under recognised for their innovation in the 60s and 70s.
Back in those days singles usually were not included on LPs! So this one was a way to get hold of those A and B sides as well as some very cool album tracks. Steve Winwood's voice is soulful as ever and he features on Hammond, as well as piano and guitar. Looking at the track listing I am wondering why they didn't include "Giving to You" (the B side had a different intro to the album version)
