A feel good soundtrack
This collection of Mamas and Papas tunes never fails to perk me up. I had lost my original copy, and had a hard time replacing it since it is out of print. Happy to have found this one. Shipping was timely and the cd is in good condition!

A classic reborn and restored to it's intended content! A must have!
1 of 1 found this helpful 1981 was the single greatest year for classic slashers. There was the good, the bad, and the ugly. There were also some that would become the "classics". My Bloody Valentine is one of those and is, without hesitation, one of the finest examples of early 80's slasher films ever released. The plot is simple: a terrible accident occurs in a mine 20 years ago which kills some miners and leaves one very angry survivor. Bent on revenge, the lone survivor kills those he feels are responsible and threatens to continue killing every year on Valentines Day if the town ever holds a VD party again. Well, the town decides that 20 years is long enough and defiantly plans a huge celebration. The rest is slasher history.
This films theatrical release was heavily edited for gore but the film was still effective. This extended release FINALLY includes the edited gore and it packs quite a punch. From the opening sequence to the infamous "Dryer" scene, all the nastiness we missed upon it's release has been restored.
Knowing the short availability of these types of films, if you are a fan, GRAB A COPY NOW! The extras a few but quite fun. Deleted scenes with some commentary, and a featurette "Bloodlust: Ny Bloody Valentine and the Rise of the Slasher Film". No gore hound or horror fanatic should be without this gem in their collection.
