First time install
First of all, this was a great deal for a carb legal CAI! And it shipped extremely fast for me being in Hawaii.
This was my first time installing a cold air intake but, I did it with a friend who’s installed a few but never a K&N. The install took a lot longer than expected and we ran into an issue with one of the hoses. We couldn’t figure out how to fit the 7 inch hose on the passenger side and ended up cutting it to make it easier to install and to avoid having any bends in the hose. Works just fine still!
The filters came oiled up and made the clamps hard to tighten down and stay in place. It continued to slide off.
Overall, 4.5 (if possible) stars simply because we ran into an issue with installing the hose, even with instruction and because the filter made it extremely difficult to tighten the clamp. This project took about 2.5-3 hours. I think it was because we actually read through the instructions, step by step, instead of just putting the pieces on.
Now my car is a little more louder and exciting to put the pedal down in!

Immediate difference
5 of 5 found this helpful I was skeptical of this brand and the use of a strut bar (not a big car guy) but, my friend said that you can feel a difference and you don’t feel like you’re about to roll around turns nearly as much.
I definitely felt a different as soon as we got it installed and it makes it look more legit under the hood! Not a bad price either.
