Strange but addicting arcade shooter game
P.N.03 is not for everyone, because it's a very different kind of game. It plays like a third-person arcade shooter but with tank-like controls for the main character. You can't shoot while moving, and the gameplay is mostly about timing and acrobatics; dodge enemy fire, attack, and chain combos. It almost feels like controlling a character from the Matrix or Equilibrium films. P.N.03 isn't like a lot of shooter games where you can just rush in and blast through stages. But once you get used to the controls and odd way of playing, it's very fun and addicting. There are lots of things to unlock and many stages to complete. The cutscenes are humorous and blessedly short. There are a few downsides to the game. The areas all look pretty similar and are very linear, with some backtracking involved. The music is ambient techno; a couple tracks are great but most of it is generic and repetitive. Some of the unlockables are too expensive, yet are required to progress properly, forcing you to go back and complete training missions to earn more points. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone looking for an oddball GameCube game to add to their library.

A rare gem for Gameboy Advance
Crazy Chase is a rare gem in the Gameboy Advance lineup; it's pretty difficult to find the game or any information about it. In the game you play a clown kid who has to run through strait paths while avoiding obstacles and collecting items. Collecting four cards lets you move to the next stage, otherwise you have to start over. Running into things slows you down and reduces your health which can lead to a game over. Crazy Chase is short, and the levels are restrictive. It looks like an action-adventure game but plays more like a shooter game where you're confined to a narrow area of play as enemies approach. Your character runs automatically and can't go backwards (but you can re-do stages until you get all 4 cards). The sound and music are great, and the animation is excellent. It's funny when the clown falls down or runs into something. The controls are suited to this type of game, but take a little while to get used to since the areas are isometric. There is a little bit of replay value since you can try to get a perfect score (not miss any cards on the first run) and you can save your game for later. Overall I would call this game more charming than anything. It's great for playing in short bursts, and somewhat addicting. If this sounds interesting to you, or if you're a fan of the polished graphic styles of games like Dynamite Headdy or Rocket Knight Adventures, Crazy Chase might be worth picking up.

One of the best in the Tony Hawk series
If it seems like my reviews are biased it's probably because most of the games I buy on eBay are my favorites from the past. :-) Tony Hawk 4 is a great skateboarding game. It's probably the second best in the Hawk series, behind the third game. Some notable additions include the ability to do one-button switches while on a rail or lip, the ability to stop your skateboarder to look around, COMBO goals, and an in-game store to buy new characters, areas, and cheats (tip: buy the slo-mo cheat right away; it will help with the super hard goals). You can set custom restart points to instantly warp to, which is very useful if you fall off a building that was really hard to get on top of. Restarting goals is also very easy. Most of the game is identical to other Tony Hawk titles. You take on short missions and try to earn points by chaining various tricks together in long combos. The music, graphics, controls, and gameplay are nearly perfect. You can even create your own skater or skate park. The only real downside is that the game can become brutally difficult in later areas and requires a lot of trial and error. Some of the pro challenges are nearly impossible. If you are a fan of the Tony Hawk games you should definitely check this one out (for PS2, Xbox, or GameCube). Casual gamers might be turned off by the sometimes unforgiving gameplay.
