Great controller

Brutal, but fun
2 of 2 found this helpful You will die a lot. There are countless FAQ's and youtube clips of the best ways to start out in this game. Use them, and it will make the beginning much easier. That is really what is so daunting about this game. You have no idea what to do, where to go, or how to overcome a steep difficulty curve. Learning from others helps ease you in a little bit. This is true of the first world boss. He is incredibly difficult wihout prior knowledge of tactics and his weaknesses. Once you know what to do he is a cake walk.
Also, pick the Royalty class. It is the strongest starting out. You can go be what ever you want as you level but their OP magic with a regen ring makes the first couple of levels easy. You can more slowly learn the sword/shield mechanics that way.
Be patient and learn your surroundings. It quickly becomes absorbing.
