SONY D-CJ01 Walkman Portable CD Player G-protection MP3 CD-R/RW Silver MP3

Nostalgic and functional

My GF, a record store manager, wanted a CD walkman that could handle the rigors of traveling in her purse and could also read mp3's. This player does just that and brings her back to a time when these things were common--modern portable disc players do not come close to vintage SONY quality (we were previously using a INSIGNIA player purchased new from the big box store). In addition to G-protection, and ability to read mp3 discs, the SONY D-CJ01 (which is what I bought and am reviewing) saves your place on the CD when you turn it off. Very handy. And for a used vintage electronic device it was in surprisingly good condition.
