Very impressed.

My son and I installed the kits last Saturday 1st July and because my car has a V8 in it the left side was a bit of a problem getting to the bracket nuts but the right side was a lot easier. I recommend that using a ratchet ring spanner will make the job easier. When I lowered my car 50mm I used lowered shocks as well as springs which caused the front tyres to wear out prematurely on the inside edge of the tyres and it made the steering a little heavy. Since we installed the kits the car is lighter on the steering and a real pleasure to drive. We replaced the original shim with two thick and a thin shims so all I need to do now is get the alignment checked so I know the castor and camber are within specs. The way the car handles now it seems that every thing is spot on. I came across these kits by accident really, as I didn't know that they were available. It was only through my other son buying an adjustable ball joint/upper wishbone kit for his raised Toyota Hilux that gave me the idea to ask google about the availability and existence and here I am. One happy retired mechanic. Definitely used them if you lower your car the same way that I did. I don't know if you need them if you just use lowered springs and standard shocks.
