Faulty sensor
I purchased one sensor back in late December, and it worked great! After six months, it is still functioning well.
In April, I bought another sensor to keep it as a spare part on my shelves. However, when I tried to use it five days ago to replace a faulty MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor, it didn't work as expected. The car would stall, and the acceleration was sluggish.
To diagnose the issue, we scanned the car using a Mercedes Benz SD Connect 4 Scanner. The scan revealed the error code P2004-002, indicating a "B2/5 (Hot film mass air flow sensor): Short circuit to ground or open circuit (P0102)." Although the sensor I purchased appeared to be new, it failed to function properly.
It's worth noting that the product description mentioned that the sensors do not come in a box. Considering the price, I wouldn't risk purchasing from this seller again. Instead, I would prefer to pay a little more for a sensor that comes with a box and a guarantee. Unfortunately, since I bought this as a spare part and didn't test it immediately, I am now outside the return window, and I have lost my money
