Item not only worked flawlessly, but it's operating in the HP Probook 6360b that I'm leaving this feedback with.

A good idea with a bad execution
With most Switchcraft or other high-end XLR Connectors, the ability to solder / un-solder / and re-solder the connector was never an issue. The plastic was durable under duress and would hold up to almost anything that was thrown at it. This connector's plastic, however can not take the heat and once the pins (which just go through the plastic) get heated over 10 seconds, they begin to melt the plastic, which in turn resets the pin position rendering the connector unusable as now the pins don't align to the "female" connector.
Had this connector been made with 1) a tougher, higher grade plastic and 2) pins that themselves were right angles, this would have been a righteous item. Unfortunately, it's not.
