One of the most original 20th Century offerings.
Well they only made a couple of studio Albums though Beth Gibbons has done an excellent collaboration with Rustin' Man since, I think 2003. Nevertheless, for those aware of the unique techiques used by Greg Barrows in producing the scratch material. You will not beat the Porishead sound. I am not going to go into the totally unique manner in which the scratch vinyl was painstakingly produced, but if you are a Poritshead Buff, you will have done your own research. They are in every respect and historically unique, using techniques that have never been used before or since and probably, ultimately never will be again. Beth Gibbons is utterly spot on yet has a little tantilising rough diamond edge of someone who has colourfully experienced life. She has a more than one little break in her vocal that will break your heart and your dearest "Fantasaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay". Not a woman to be messsed with. Assertiveness in art. Might I recommend the New Yok Live DVD. It has evertything and is so utterly professional, authenic, accurate and given the treatment that these two founder members would have wanted. What can you say except that this is Portishead by Portishead. Without it your CD collection is not a CD collection. It is not my first copy but I bought it becsue it is as sssential as having a pulse. Kinseasr regards and good Karma always, Martin Davies 02.03 2008 03.12 hrs. United Kingdom, Wales, Loughor.

Anker Stereo Wireless Portable Speaker 8 hours Playtime Bluetooth 4.0 20W New

Good little speaker.
The Anker Bluetooth speaker has good sound reproduction and looks cool. You can feel it's solidly built, a fair weight but the portability is great. We aren't looking at high fidelity but for what it is and for the price, it's a nice buy. It's easy to pair up. My laptop sees it straight away. Minimum fuss to set up. It's great for listening to music when you're on the hop getting ready for work. Tears you away from the lappy so that you leave in time to arrive early. I mostly use it for stuff like TED talks, podcasts which keep the mind occupied when in the shower or ironing that shirt for work. It has good bass response but even at high volume, it isn't going to upset the neighbours. I had an interesting experience when I placed it directly behind my head resting on the sofa. I was surprised that I could sense stereo separation. So on the whole, I find it versatile and if I want an optimum listening experience, I run my music through a valve headphone amplifier and Sennheiser headphones.

Nice piece of kit for very little money.
Apart from being a nice unit in itself, I find it very useful for quality recording of cassettes for use in cars that only have cassette players installed, a good saving on upgrading an auto sound system. Panasonic always give that extra bit of bang for your bucks. Thank you.
