NoNoise 3PROM0160 Motorsport Ear Protection - Pair New
03 May 2017
Not as magical or dramatic as the manufacturer would like you to think it is.
Positives: These are high quality and does preserve your hearing as they claim. A noticeable decrease in wind noise, washable and reusable. A metal storage tube keeps them safe and together. Negatives: Though I hear less wind roar, I also don't hear the nice sounding exhaust (that I spend even more money to make sound this way), which isn't even loud on my bike. I thought the noise control would be more targeted but it's not the magic they claim it is. Verdict: These are ok. Yes, you should get hearing protection, generally speaking; but these plugs are not as dramatic and selective as the advertising says, and I don't think I'd spend the money over again or recommend these to others. I would say they are worth maybe 1/2 to 2/3 what they are sold at.
Suzuki GSXR600 750 1000 Gladius SFV650 Black Front Pair Foot Peg Rests 2001-2014
18 July 2017
Great price, does the job, but a few things you should know before buying.
These were bought for my 2009 Suzuki Gladius SFV 650 to replace a broken stock peg. I don't know if these issues will affect the other models that use these. They do the job at a great price, but a few things kept them from being 4/5 or 5/5 stars: 1) The pins these came with were loose compared to the stock pins, so I reused my stock ones. Be careful with the stock E-clips when you take them off. If they go sailing, you'll be stuck with the loose included pins. 2) The return springs have a hook bent into the two ends. I had to bend one of them 90 degrees to keep them from digging into the aluminum rear-set bodies. It's fine once you do this, so you should know going in. You may be able to see what I did on my pic. 3) This may be the deal breaker. The peg, once mounted, has an upward sweep from hinge to tip. It creates an awkward foot/ankle/leg position compared to stock, and may lead to fatigue and cramps. I leveled my shifter peg in the frame of the picture, so you can see the angle of the peg against it. I have about 30 minutes of riding on these and I don't know if I can get used to it. Otherwise the drag feelers seem to thread in fine, the pegs seems sturdy and the return spring is firm.
Stalk Arapaho Black Turn Signal + Adapter Kit Suzuki DL 650 1000 V-STROM Vstrom
14 December 2016
Compact and bright. Good deal.
These signals are compact and clean; lit up bright with the amber tip for added viewing angle from the side. It may not be listed on the item title, but I installed them on a 2009 SFV 650 Gladius and the mounting adaptor kit worked fine since they're for the Suzuki factory hexagonal stalk shape. The flexible stalk prevents breakage from slight bumps. I bought an LED relay to get rid of the hyper blink, since they replaced incandescent bulbs. I can't speak to this signal casing's water resistance since I have not washed or rode in rain since install.
