One cable solution
Got it for $113.50 which was a good deal. I am using a Acer SWIFT 5 SF514-54T and this is working well with it. Charges the laptop and and all my peripherals are connect with one cable.

Works and great price if you can bear the smell.
Good: Price is good and good as a stand.
Bad: Made out of cheap plastic and smells a lot of bad chemicals. If you turn on the fan it makes it worse because now the smell spreads. Not suitable for small spaces.

Says converter but it's not!
Eventhough it is named a converter, it is not! It is just a cable and has no electrionics in it to do the convertion from HDMI to VGA.
