Good buy

Okay for home (water), poor for car, since designed for car.... two stars
This device will cool drinks to about 10 degrees Celcius, not the optimal 3-5 degrees Celcius for such drinks as soft drink and Juice. Okay for water.
I bought an adapter so I can use it in the bedroom.
It takes time to cool, about 1 to 2 degrees per hour, thus not really suitable for a car unless you intend to drive for ten hours.
A much better option for the CAR would be is to get an esky with ice and put the drinks in cold, faster, cheaper and more effective.
Do not buy for car, it takes too long to cool, temperature not low enough...get a cheap ice esky instead.
