Looking for the almost perfect device?
1 of 1 found this helpful I am convinced there is no, nor will there ever be the perfect PDA/Phone but HP got close with this one. I have never written a review before but I've been using the Ipaq 910C for a month now and this is my opinion of the device.
The size and weight is good but I liked the 3" screen on the old 6515 & 6945 better. The main problem with the screen is that it is recessed slightly which makes it hard to X out of applications, check battery strength, etc. which are in the corners of the screen. I have trouble with my big fingers in the corners but I guess that's what the stylus is for.
Battery life is very good if you don't have the bluetooth or the GPS radios enabled. Even with bluetooth enabled it will run me 2 days easy and works perfectly with the Samsung WEP200 ear piece.
The reception of the phone is very good with good quality. I have read other reviews that stated the volume was low and the sound quality was poor, but I do not find this to be the case. The included Google Maps is a big plus, you don't have to buy any navigation software to use the GPS, although I like Odyssey Mobile over any other navigation software I have seen and it works great on the 910C. HP says it will use up to a 4GB Micro SD card but I have an 8GB Sandisk installed and it works perfectly for storing email attachments, music, pictures that you take with the built in 3 Megapixel camera, the Odyssey Software & maps, etc. The pictures are very good for phone pictures but if you want a family picture you would want to buy a good digital camera for the job.
Previously being an Ipaq hw6515a and most recently an Ipaq hw6945 user, I found the 910C with Windows Mobile 6.1 very easy for me to navigate with no problem finding settings I wanted to change. I believe anyone familiar with a computer with Windows for an operating system will have no problem operating this device.
One thing that I really dislike is that HP chose to put the audio out in the same Mini USB connector as the power and sync connection. While on the road using the GPS in my powered Arkon windshield mount, I can connect either the power or the amplified audio which I can hear voice directions much better than the speaker in the phone itself. If someone would come up with a splitter that would allow both connections simultaneously that would be great but I have been unable to find one.
Overall this is a very good Phone / PDA / GPS / Dictation Machine / Internet Browser / Email device with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint also installed. Being able to not only read Word & Excel documents but modify and return them via email is a big plus. It's even better than having a mini laptop in my pocket.

Great Trigger
I've replaced the triggers in all 4 of my Glocks with this kit, including one Police Trade-In with a 14lb New York Trigger. When I buy another Glock I'll be ordering another one of these.
