Jade Empire is a Great Game
2 of 2 found this helpful I really enjoyed Jade Empire. Normally I hate it when RPGs are simplified at all, but this game was simplified in all the right places. The leveling process is quick and easy, you don't really buy any new equipment except for training and medal powerup things, combat is pretty easy but still fun. The dialogue and plot were typical to bioware, if not better than normal; you can expect a deep complex story with plenty of choices.
The atmosphere was another great selling point for me. All the environments were really detailed, pretty, and had a distinct asian feel to them. Also the game in general seemed a lot like a kung-fu movie which is a very nice change from the countless LOTR ripoffs (not that I don't enjoy them but still, they get old). Overall this is just a very well-made game that I think is underrated.
