Sanyo digital camera.
I purchased tis camera chiefly because of it's price,and the reputation of the manufacterer. We have 2 puppies who take anything they can get their teeth on out into the snow. My previous camera survived it's first day in the snow, but not the second one. (It's amazing how they find things.) I decided to purchase a cheap camera till they get out of the puppy stage. So far this camera seems to be working, very well. and I am very satisfied with it. I believe I know why it was sold, but it doesn't affect my use of it atall. I's a nice smallhandy size, and fits very easily into my purse or pocket. When I think it's safe, I will probably buy a new model.

Nikon Camera - Coolpix L19 8.0 Megapixel
The camera had a few exterior scratches as I had expected, being used,but it works perfectly, and I am very happy with the pics it takes. I hoped to get an instruction book on line, but they only sell them, (about $15) so I am working my way through what the camera can do myself. None of it seems to be very difficult.
I am amazed with the way the camera stands up to hard wear. I have a dog who takes all sorts of things outside, and he took the camera and left it out in the snow. I don't know how long it was out there, no more than 1 or 2 days, but after leaving it to dry in a warm place, it continued to work as if nothing had happened.
My previous 2 cameras were Canons. The first one started to give me problems within a month of the guarantee expiring. I was offered an "upgrade" to a better model, but a refurbished one, for about the same price I had paid for the first. At the time it sounded like a good deal. That also started to cause problems after the warrantee expired. I wrote to them, and I was stunned when they made me the same offer as before. It was very obvious that they hadn't even read my letter to them.
I have heard for years that Nikon makes good camera, so I figured I couldn't go far wrong if I purchased a used one, and after my experience so far, you can be sure that my next camera will be a Nikon also.
