I am of a certain age, and a fan of FM since the 70s. I thought it was about time to treat myself to a cd, and found this one on Ebay. I was not familiar with the bands more recent music, and found this very interesting.
Mainly, the songs were more mature and complex in construction, and their distinctive sound and voices still evident, although time has left a slightly rough edge, but so what?
It was an excellent blind purchase, and will be loved by die hard 1970S fans as well as those unfamiliar with the band.
RAG N BONE MAN WOLVES CD E.P. - NEW RELEASE APRIL 2017
10 September 2017
A good album from an original artist
I "discovered" Rag 'n' Bone Man on Jools Holland's Hogmanay TV show last year. I was watching with my husband. Normally, he was very critical of modern music, but he said, "Good singer!"
A few weeks later his lung cancer beat him, and we chose a track from this album "Lay my body down" for the committal in the Crematorium. There were a lot people of his age range, he was 73, who had never heard of R'n'B man, and who were pleasantly surprised on hearing him sing.
There are no duff tracks on this EP album. I believe he has got longevity as a performer.
I m looking for ward to hearing new music from him

Aled Jones - Blessings [CD] Sent Sameday*
03 December 2020
A great spiritual experience
Aled Jones is wonderful, and he has recorded some fantastic arrangements, too. It is very spiritual without being too heavy-handed and preachy. It is suitable for any person of faith, or even no faith, if you are looking for some meaning to life. another winner, Aled
