Awesome cooler
I have a Toshiba laptop, internet famous for cooling issues. My laptop always ran hot, like around 65-70C (the BIOS doesn't permit access to fan controls or I would have upped the fan speeds), but worked fine for the longest time. After some updates, the computer seemed to forget how to modulate the fan speed shortly after booting (no joke), and I missed my chance to do a System Restore. During regular operating, temps would be in the 80s, and it was so bad that when playing a video, the fan would still be at an idle while the temperature would coast up to around 102 Celsius before the computer shut down.
I was thinking I'd have to reinstall Windows, and maybe look at rolling back the BIOS, but my roommate suggested getting an OPolar instead. Awesome suggestion. Now the temperature sits in the mid 60's, which is kinda warm but pretty decent and cooler than it's ever been since it forgot how to run the fan.
Very pleased with it, highly recommend.

3 of 3 found this helpful So glad I got this instead of an outdoor electric grill. It is SO fast, a lot cheaper, and didn't require assembly, and does a really good job cooking. I cooked some ribeye on it and it was marvelous, so juicy since it was seared instantly.
