Simple but effective
This alarm is extremely easy to fit and, in the short time that I've been using it, appears to work well. It responds to quite slight movement and is loud. It is intended for modern vehicles with negative earth, but the need to connect only two wires means that it can also be used in a positive earth system, by connecting both wires directly to the battery.

Mostly great
1 of 1 found this helpful I've only used this product to measure the gap on a single set of spark plugs, but I found that it did match the gap as measured by the more common feeler gauges, so it works to that extent. The 'Gap Opener' hole works too. The only drawback is that there isn't a 'Gap Closer', so you still have to resort to another tool for that. But this product's main benefit for me is that I find it so much easier to handle than feeler gauges when measuring a gap.

Sturdy accessory socket
I have found this simple bit of kit to be quite solid and reliable as an accessory socket, with no problems. It does not power a cigarette lighter, and you may find that you need to change the terminals that are already fitted to the wires, but if you're looking for something like it then that shouldn't be a problem for you. I thought it was good value, and I would certainly recommend it. I have used mine as an interior socket so I can't vouch for the attached cover if you wanted to install it outside, but it seems up to the job.
