How'd They Build That ?...Fire Truck

Marvelous insight from Marvelous Machines!

I bought this DVD for my sons as we're having a bit of a fire engine time at the moment, but if I'm honest, it was for Daddy as well! And that's one of the good points - it's good for kids and grown-ups too. The video covers the basics of fire engines and trucks before showing you how Seagrave go about building them. There's also a little of the history of Seagrave - the oldest fire truck manufacturer in the USA. It was wonderful to see the craftsmanship and love that clearly goes into building these fantastic vehicles - something that's quite rare these days. My kids are 3 1/2 and 7 1/2 and the younger one did watch it, but found it harder to stick with - it's definitely aimed at slightly older children. I'm in the UK, but we are particularly into American fire trucks, so this was great for us. Overall, well worth the money - well produced, entertaining and informative.

Great for adjusting your home machine (if you're a coffee geek like me!)

I wanted to adjust the OPV on my Gaggia Classic, so this was perfect, allowing me to make the adjustment without forking out a lot for a more costly gauge. The item arrived really quickly and was well packaged. The only assembly required is to insert the mesh filter and washer, and fix it onto a portafilter.
