unit has some problems
0 of 1 found this helpful Whilst the concept is good I have found that the either the remote needs a bit more power or the receivers in the individual plugs needs to be upgraded.I used the number 1 as the logical master switch and then 2,3 as specific appliance switches. I have had trouble turning the number 1 unit off even when I hold the remote close to it. Sometimes it works fine from a distance and then other times ??? I have changed the configuration to run number 3 as the master to provide a logical progression ie. 3,2,1, The jury is still out.

PWM technology
The new direction is supposedly MMPT regulators. All very fine but check out the fine print, PWM is mentioned on MMPT devices I have purchased as part of the operating system. They all work to the level of expenditure one is happy to incur. I have used quite a few systems from el cheapo $5.00 units for boat batteries, winch batteries and slightly more expensive units for caravans. They all work happily enough doing what they do. But it all depends on the application totally and what one wants to spend.
