    Steel Mounting Plate for Nest Learning Thermostat *** ORIGINAL ITEM ***

    Good fit, Good Finish. Comes with base mounting hardware.
    Nest doesn't inclued this metal base plate with the lower cost Nest E-Thermostat. I would think it is an essential part of mounting the thermostat since most users are replacing something that was mounted onto an electrical box or low voltage mtg. ring. This part filled the gap. I was installing the Nest E stats to control warehouse Unit heaters and needed to mount onto an electrical box. Thought I'd have to make something up myself when I found these. Good fit, worked as expected.
