Brilliant Barclay and Scripture
Barclay brings scripture to life - vivid descriptions of what was happening as biblical events took place, relevant background concerning parties involved, and clarifying context. Truly excellent scholarship.

GREAT Read!!
This is part 2 of the Natchez Burning Trilogy by one of my favorite authors. Engaging, well-written, suspenseful, and evocative, this is oh-let-me-read-just-one-more-chapter stuff.

Barclay illuminates
I have all 17 volumes of Barclay's engaging commentary and spend time reading them daily. I so appreciate them that I often buy copies of his various commentaries to give to friends.
