High quality, adaptive listening, very comfortable, easy to install/setup
1 of 1 found this helpful The only con I can think of is the requirement to charge the newly installed batteries for at least 16 uninterrupted hours prior to turning on the headphones for the first time. After that the headphones will fully charge (if they're drained nearly completely) in about 8.5 hours. I was excited to try them and I had to be super-patient and fully follow the instructions to not mess up anything.
What's good? Everything else. The product manual is in numerous languages and is pretty simple to understand. I have tried all the modes available and can say that each one is slightly different but the 'one for me' was a clear standout when I switched to it. Balance between the ears is simple and very effective--I have slight hearing loss in one ear and these headphones completely compensate for that. The spoken word very clearly stands out from background sounds, music, loud vehicles and the like. I've worn these headphones from mid-afternoon until 10 P.M. with complete comfort though around my ears did get a tad moist from perspiration. The leather of the ear cups is the softest I've ever felt and the headphones can be adjusted to fit very comfortably. The functions of the charging base are many and extremely helpful; when you remove the headphones to put them on, the small light that says they're fully charged (when green) flashes between one and four times to indicate approximately how many hours of battery life you should expect before placing them back on recharge. My TV didn't have optical output so the preferred hookup with optical cable wasn't possible. Thus, I used the 3.5 mm earphone cable and still had to purchase a 3.5 mm socket with a Y-connection to two RCA audio out plugs to go into the back of my 2010 TV. The sound quality is fantastic and there is no apparent latency. In addition, I can get up out of my easy chair to get a snack or drink and still can hear the entire sound, especially dialogue. Setup of the entire thing took less than 5 minutes. Selecting my optimal sound profile took a little longer--perhaps 7-10 minutes. But then I was done--the system recalls my exact settings even when the headset is turned off or placed on the base for charging. The on/off button on the headphones, if pushed once briefly serves as a Mute button so you can hear someone talking to you and then a brief push of that button again UNmutes the sound. One of the biggest benefits is I can turn the TV sound wayyyyy down to not distub anyone else in the house, yet I can turn my headphones up or leave them as set allowing me to hear the TV sound perfectly! The German build quality is really good and the engineering is even better! My only regret is that I didn't purchase these sooner--a little pricey, but worth every penny once you're using them.

Broken, crumbled cookies
1 of 1 found this helpful The product was substandard. While not stale or off-flavored, the cookies were almost all broken to bits. I believe these were case-packs dropped or banged up in shipping and that resulted in all the breakage. I now see that this brand is available once again in my local grocery store and that's where I'll be buying it for a taste that beats Oreo every time!

Tellier SS 5qt. Food Mill is French culinary genius!
Very nicely crafted, all stainless steel food mill with three sieving plates. Disassembles easily for cleaning by hand or in the dishwasher. Not like the usual Chinese junk that floods the marketplace, this is the mill that is sold in restaurant supply stores for use by professional chefs and commercial kitchens so you know it's built right and for years of steady, trouble free service.
Completely removed tomato seeds from large batches of home grown tomatoes to make delicious fresh tomato sauces/coulees and even juice if you are clever with your use of sieves. The size is generous for use in home kitchens while not being overwhelming to store, handle or clean.
