Preschool and Early Elementary Story Level
Even a small child has a bad day every once in awhile and that makes this book so easy to relate to. By the time we got to the end my granddaughter was repeating "terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day." The sibling rivelery was so evident and yet so sullen. The children related very well and they each had their favorite part of the day. One could remember when his cousin got a toy out of a box of cereal and he opened a new box of a different cereal and no toy! Our granddaughter could relate to Alexander in the shoe store and how she too could not get the pair of shoes she had chosen. The story ends on a very positive note because " everybody has a terrible, horrible, no good very bad day." Highly recommended. The book itself was in good shapr.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrice Potter
1 of 1 found this helpful No child should grow up without "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" in their library. This has long been a classic story and this little book doesn't disappoint its littlest child. The picture comes alive. Only a child can giggle with a silly giggle at seeing a rabbit walk up-right and wearing a little blue jacket. How silly of that rabbit to try and hide from Mr,McGregor. Your child will beg for you to read this story to them over and over.

A Storybook that only Grandparents Appreciate
This so cute. Our five year old granddaughter travels with us quite often. When this book arrived I hid it so I could introduce it to her while traveling. We could not read it enough. You read the "What Grandma's do Best" and then you turn it upside down and you read "What Grandpa's do Best". The story lines are delightful and it makes for a very warm memory between child and grandparent. I would recommend it for anyone who is a grandparent whether grandchildren lived next door or on the other side of the world. It is a delightful book.
