Nikon 1 V1: Fun and Fast Underrated Shooter
1 of 1 found this helpful A camera line much-maligned in its time that has developed a cult following, much like the Pentax Q. It has limited filters and deserved a better lens lineup, but it's light, lightning fast, and, again like the Pentax Q, fun. I have the V2 and j5 cameras in the now-discontinued Nikon 1 line, but this, the original, is my favorite for quick outings.

Durable and dependable
2 of 2 found this helpful I've been an Alphasmart user for years, buying directly from the company when the originals cost a lot more than the bargain prices available here. I need a keyboard I can rely on and type on with pleasure and know that my text is automatically saved, and Alphasmarts fit the bill; they're also light, portable, and distraction-free. My favorite models are the Alphasmart 3000, the Neo, and Neo2. Can't go wrong with any of them and with a fresh set of batteries they'll run for months; goodbye to the nuisance of recharging a laptop every day.
