Freedom Force vs. the 3rd Reich (PC Games)

I decided to buy this game because I played the first Freedom Force and loved it. This game was mostly better. New characters, better graphics and sound and interaction with the environment. I have to say, though, that I was disappointed. The very first level didn't load the graphics, and although you could still play the game, you couldn't see anything. I was able to get past that and continue playing, and in the levels after that, the graphics loaded just fine, and things were great. Until a few levels before the end of the game, I encountered the same graphics problem. This made the game unplayable, and it made me sad to have to put it away after having so much fun.
