Very good hardware but requires you to sacrifice privacy to get the most out of it
5 of 5 found this helpful it's very smart in vacuuming and the hardware is good (for example it can climb 1cm or so, the laser-supported algorithm seems to do a good job in figuring out the floor plan).
One thing that's important to understand though is that some of the functionality can only be used if you don't care about your privacy. The app that allows for many features requires heaps of permissions for things that are totally unrelated to controlling a robotic vacuum cleaner (such as access to contacts, phone calls, messages, camera, microphone etc.) and I just don't trust that this would be kept in good hands, especially due to the fact that it's not actually needed.
So if you care about your privacy you won't enjoy a timed cleaning, watching a map of the house, controlling the suction strength, upgrading the robot's firmware and more.
