Exactly what I needed
1 of 1 found this helpful It's one of these things you don't realise you need. I wouldn't comfortable put a full load on it as per item description specs, it gets toasty at constant 3A, but worked fine driving 2A for prolonged periods of time. I'm using it to power a 60-led long led strip from a laptop power supply but it managed to drive a 300-led long one, although obviously was triggering the current limit. Did I mention you can adjust the voltage and max current? Set the current to 3A to never go above if you're worried your device might freak out and draw more. Also the LCD is super useful, shows power, voltage and current, and you can turn it off if you don't need it.
Solid buy, just remember it's not designed to drive super long LED strips

Grab something else instead
Buttons work or don't work randomly, one button needs much more force to be registered, another stops registering while it's pressed in, and d-pad has phantom keypresses when pushing down. It's a cheap controller but if you want something reliable, you should get something else

Too many false positives
It's small. It's cheap. It's easy to set up. But the number of false positives it's randomly generating is stunning. If you need a reliable PiR, look elsewhere
