Does the job that I purchased it for.

It is very fast at 300 dots per inch. At 1200(?) Dpi purchase much slower but very high quality.

Works great but doesn't replace an regular vacuum.

It is funny to watch but it does get the job done, it takes awhile since it is wandering and you have to decide when it is done, I know that there is a timer mode and maybe that might do it. This unit seems a little hesitant to go back home when ordered. It seems like is continuing with its random cleaning but it does eventually get back. It has some problem with our area rugs. It only gets up on then when the unit has a running start. I wish the collector bin was larger. It is quite full when it has done the great room and kitchen, This may not be a problem for some but we have a lot to pick up with two dogs and cypress needles this time year that get tracked in by everybody, especially the dogs, Currently is holding a charge very well it is usually only 25% depleted after finishing our area. It asked if emptying is easy, well it is but if you do the recommended cleaning it is fairly involved and and done every time. What impressed me during the cleaning is there is a very fine screen that collects very small dust particles and I have a feeling that most vacuums would just pass these back into the air. About every third day we have to run a regular vacuum to really clean the rugs well.
