Not perfect. A few tweaks help (and don't count on great dust control)
Not nearly as great as Laguna would have you believe, but still a decent value. I purchased this saw after waffling on the Fusion2. The price points are really good, compared to other cabinet saws and I figured this would be a step up from what I had, an old Rigid. I was especially interested in the integrated top/bottom dust control. It was easy to put together, has a lots of power, and the works are well designed and easy to operate. The upper dust control is a PITA. The anti-kick mechanism is nasty..makes it almost impossible to change blades and the guards (okay, I don't like guards) are worthless. After several attempts (weeks) to make it work, I ditched the upper dust control and the guards. Much better. The fence is, well, sloppy. I tried adjusting but it remains loose, didn't glide over the table. I finally gave up and bought a VEGA after-market fence, which works exactly the way a quality fence should. I salvaged part of the Laguna rear rail to support the router table and think I might be able to use the front rail as part of a drill press fence. The Laguna rip fence itself I'll probably take apart for the materials. Sigh. SO. I saved some money over the Fusion2, but spent more on the fence upgrade and don't use the upper dust control. The saw that I have left works fine, and I'm happy with it, but I think "Fusion" might refer to the fact that I had to "fuse" several products from different manufacturers to get the saw I wanted. This might just be me, but c'mon Laguna, you can do better (at least on the fence!) The anti-kick might be a lost cause (but the riving knife is well done!)

Can't be beat ... just as described, shipped fast. Well-worth the cost. We needed speakers for a second computer and these filled the bill perfectly.
