works great, no complaints other than could have used a little more length after the transformer.
works great, fast delivery.
could have used another foot of wire after the transformer, but that will vary depending on everyone's application. the length is generous, but my route was especially wiggly.

works great, totally plug and play to restore sound from my windows tablet
1 of 1 found this helpful quick delivery, looks and works exactly as described. this little thing is great, i plugged it into my windows tablet and it immediately was added as a new sound device. now i can stream movies again with sound, since the built-in audio card stopped working the other week. haven't tried any of the buttons on it, just control volume through windows. the little green LED flashes basically all the time, just FYI.

arrived quickly, and works great. but it is "polarity" sensitive.

be advised that this tap is "polarity" sensitive: for it to pass voltage to the wire, the outside leg (furthest from the wire) of the fuse needs to be the hot side. you cannot plug it in the other way around and get any voltage to the wire.
this is actually safer than some models, which pass voltage either way, because it means this tap only delivers voltage through the fuse. but be aware that the plastic nub on the side of the holder is not flexible and you may run into space issues due to the orientation limits.
in my case, the fuse holder for my car is flush against the body, and i had to break off that nub and solder a lead directly to the internal conductor of the tap.
it all worked out fine, so 5 stars from me. just check your clearance and your orientation of the hot rail if you have limited space and don't want to do some "fixing" to make it work.
