    Passing it on..
I had this album many years ago. I was drawn to the harmonies and ripping guitar parts on songs like; meanwhile and others. I bought this on CD for the convenience of being able to listen to it in the car or in the garage. I played it a few times over a few weeks time only to find out that my 21 year old son like it enough to make himself a copy to listen to. I guess it's as good as I remember it to be and that the music has lost nothing over the years. I have found this to hold true with plenty of the old music. I have to laugh when I hear something like ELO coming from somewhere other than my player and know that all I've really done is to take some really good music and pass it on. kenny

The way it was supposed to be
I had to have this particular CD because, on the best of CD and other compilations the order in the song play is different. For me it takes away from all the feelings and thoughts from the past that are evoked when listened to. I like the familiarity of knowing what somg will play next and how one song builds that rockin mood as it turns into the next track. I think something is lost on the best of because of the order, it should play in the same order it plays inside your head. Those were such nuts times for me and I do like being able to revisit them even if only in my memories. There are also a song or two on this CD that aren't on the best of. I can't say that there's a song on here that rates as less favorite from the rest, it's all good stuff! I like hearing Montrose played the way it was supposed to be! Made loud to be played LOUD!! Lets irritate the neighbors! kenny

    Now I can quit looking!
I've been looking to find this 1973 release by BTO ever since 1992. I had this LP and it was one of my favorites. Made loud to be played loud!! Imagine my joy when I found it on ebay! It made me want to search out more of the music that played on my turntable years ago, the ones I played so many times they began to lose the grooves. I put it in my CD player, cranked it up untill the dog hid and the cat ran upstairs! I guess you can find almost anything if you just keep looking long enough! Now for some Foghat! Rock On!!
