as good an you need
i have it on a new violin now. it's good, although a little bit mid-y. you'll need to EQ it, like any other piezo pickup on earth. it's a very usable sound but does need some 'consideration'. you'll be happy if you install one on just about any instrument as long as you have a decent EQ to carve out the lumpy.

works well and is well constructed.
this is a highly specialized tool, but if this is the tool you need then it's the only one to think of. you turn a trem strat into a hard tail strat. WAY better than 'blocking' your existing trem arm. install this with glue, bang it into place, install hard tail tailpiece and have yourself a good ol' time. well made, solid and even sanded smooth.
