Good flys, Not for novice or children.
Pro: Despite the aircraft being tussled and bustled by wind, the gimbal compensates for the movement and the video is none the wiser.
It is fun to fly. Looks great in the air. I love that the camera can rotate 360 degrees. great support through YuneecPilots.com. These guys are the best.
I like the concept of being able to fly the drone while some one else controls the camera.
Cons: ( and there are quite a few) 1) Range. I hate that when the aircraft flies behind a tree, it looses contact with the controller. This is definitely a line of sight flight. The controller (ST-16) is not ergonomic. There are functions that require you to lot go of the joysticks in order to be able to accomplish. I hate that there is no factory support in the USA. I hate that there is no cross model compatibility for the cameras and that the Thermal cameras cost so much.
I wish the controller displayed flight path real time superimposed over a map. Craft appears unstable and tends to drift when hovering at low altitude.
This is my second Yuneec H. The first was a H Plus that mysteriously crashed. ($2,000) I also fly DJI Phantom 4 Pro ($1,550.00) and Mavic 2 Pro. ($1,750.00) While the DJI are superior in most features, (Range, Control, Telemetry, Support, Availability, etc,) I still find the Yuneec H fun-er to fly.
I have approx 250 hours flight time, I live and fly in the San Fernando Valley
