Works Perfectly
Was this close to buying the (almost) same unit at Harbor Freight. They have good prices, but I found this for much less. It's apparently a discontinued model, but I honestly can't see the difference between this and the model they now carry. Same looks and specs. Seems like there was one spec ever-so-slightly different, but not enough to matter.
I have this hooked up with my solar panels. It was trial and error, since I don't know about how to calculate my needs. I have 2 100 watt panels and a Harbor Freight battery with this now. Before, I had different batteries, larger (5000 Peak) and smaller (750) inverters, and nothing seemed to hold the charge long enough for even a light bulb overnight. Now it works like I envisioned it. I keep two IP cameras and an air compressor connected and it works like a charm.

Ok, but won't use with my DSLR
I purchased this to use with my Lumix G7. It didn't take long to see that it would not work out. If the legs aren't placed just right, the weight of the camera will cause them to give until it falls over. It appears to have a quick disconnect and acts like it might be one since it has what appears to be a release button. But, it doesn't release! Finally, the screw mount turns without end and I super-glued it so that I can at least use it with a GoPro.. I finally ended up buying the real deal (Gorillapod) and the difference was night and day.

Perfect
I bought a Lumix G7 body and this is the lens that would normally come with it. If it wasn't new (I can't remember) it sure looks new and works perfectly.
