DeLonghi DD1000TC Coffee Maker
1 of 1 found this helpful The concept of two pots combined in a single appliance has great appeal to heavy coffee drinkers such as my wife and I. We ordered the unit, and the service by the seller was good. However, our initial enthusiasm quickly soured as glaring deficiencies in the unit came to light immediatly. First of all, poorly designed carafes make it impossible to pour with-out coffee spillng. Secondly, programming the unit for delayed brewing is very dificult, much more so than any other pot that I have used. Thirdly, the right hand pot never made a full pot of coffee. Checking revealed that the water chamber on that side was leaking. Fourthly, the entire unit failed completely after about 10 days of use. Great concept, very poor execution.
