Power Hd 25kg “LW25” waterproof HV
The reason I gave the 3 star out of 5 rating is because this is my second One. I use it as a steering servo on my heavily upgraded TRX4 defender. The first one I purchased I gave. Rating of 5/5 because I was so happy with the performance until after 4 months of usage it totally burned out while i was using my rig. I purchased a second one which is the one i am using now because i put the first one burning out to maybe over usage or maybe just a freak occurrence. So for now 3/5 until I can prove otherwise. I do however recommend it because apart from “My” one failing it was brilliant up until that point. Good power, good speed in transition and it even came with a metal 25g horn, so one less upgrade I had to buy. The second one however did not come with a metal horn. I am not sure if the first one was a newer batch or older one so if you’re lucky you may get the one with a metal horn in the box. Workmanship seems very high and quality of materials very high too. In fact if my first one had not failed I would have had no issue using them on my 15-20kg class giant scale rc plane as these servos are rated up to 25kg which would be perfect for that size aircraft. I can’t however recommend them for aircraft because of that first failure because it’s fine using them in surface RC but planes are too dangerous and way too risky to recommend something that may fail in flight.

Trx4 Defender
I bought this servo because of all the hype about it and fairly decent reviews. I use it on my heavily modified and upgraded TRX4 Defender. My rig weighs about 30-40% more than what it was stock so yeah it is very heavy. Heaps of lead weight at the front for stability purposes on steep uphill incline climbs. The servo was purchased July 2020 it is now September 2020 and it stopped working. So $89 AUD is about $55 USD. It lasted 2 months. I never submerged it nor have I ever given it a very hard time. I mostly trail with the exception of a little rock crawling in my backyard but absolutely nothing even close to competition style crawling.
I was doing bit of indoor crawling at home on a raised foam portable floor bed and after about 1 1/2 hours of crawling it started to get very slow on turning the wheels and then it just stopped. Turns out the servo was so hot i almost could not touch it, so in short it overheated.
I don’t know if it was a wise move to order another one but i did anyway. If it does happen again then it be the servo just isn’t capable of being in a rig such ad the Heavy TRX4’s or similar.
Either way I will publish results once I test the second one
I am hoping it was just a one off thing and I had a dud part in my particular power HD 25kg servo because Up until the failure I was telling everyone how awesome this servo was and that I would even use it in my 1/3.5 scale 17kg XCUB from hangar 9. (It’s a huge RC Gas powered plane with 3 meter wing span)
Here’s hoping i won’t have to say negative things about Power HD again.

SSD kidney style beadlock wheels
Beautiful wheels to suit mist trail or rock crawler rigs specifically 80 series LandCruiser bodies like the RCRUN80. I have them fitted to my Rc4wd gelande 2 FJ40 LandCruiser and they look amazing
