Nice for it's price
+ provides JBOD if no configuration specified
+ works well fully utilizing SATAI/II HDD's throughput
+ works "from the box" in Windows, Linux, FreeBSD - no additional drivers needed
+ since it provides direct access to HDDs - RECOMMENDED FOR USING WITH ZFS
- it is really hot - plan cooling well
- it uses rare cable - buy cable first
- it is PCI-E x4 (not x1) - but x8, x16 compatible
