The most overlooked part of He-Man's history.
It has become a bit of a cliche, but the New Adventures of He-Man really is the most underrated part of MOTU's rich history. The second volume of The New Adventures of He-Man features some of the best stories in the series - including the ****small spoiler**** return of TEELA. The animation has it's ups and downs, but generally it remains consistently good. Many fans already know this is NOT a series that was done by Filmation, rather it is more similar to early '90's Japanese-influenced animation. The design of the case is fantastic. It features bright, colorful artwork depicting Skeletor and two of his most trusted cohorts: Flogg and Slush Head. The unfolding inner-tray contains scenes from the show and a quote taken from their respective episodes as well as cool graphics spread throughout. On the spine is the sixth piece of an eight piece mural which, when displayed with all the Masters of the Universe DVD sets as well as the Princess of Power DVD sets, shows an awesome scene taken from the MotU universes. An episode guide and two collectible art-cards are included and round out this wonderful set. Although the character designs and animation style differ drastically from that of the original He-Man tales, please don't look past this integral series. It would be a huge disservice to any fan to miss this epic part of He-Man's history. I highly recommend this, and Volume One, to any fan of He-Man, or just good sci-fi animation wholeheartedly.

ADK's Classic Franchise All on One Disc
Although this review is based on the Japanese PS2 version of "World Heroes Gorgeous," better known in the U.S. as World Heroes Anthology, keep in mind that, besides the text and online play, the two versions are identical. What really made up my mind to make this purchase (other than the great price) was the value. On this single PS2 disc you get FOUR games for the price of ONE budget title! Yes, World Heroes, World Heroes 2, World Heroes 2 Jet, and World Heroes Perfect are all represented here in perfect arcade form. I am an old-school gamer; a product of the late '70's, and an enormous fighting game fan, so this was like a dream come true. The controls are perfect, tight and responsive, with an arcade stick or with just the standard PS2 controller. The graphics will stir up a sense of nostalgia, and the music will bring you right back to that old '80's arcade in which you used to hang out. With in-game options such as arranged music tracks and color-editing for all the unique characters this really is a win/win situation. In short, SNK Playmore really has a winning system on their hands: Old school games compiled in an affordable collection. If you consider yourself a serious game player and/or you would like to bring back the old days for a few hours, you will not be disappointed with World Heroes Anthology for the PS2.
