DC4 Stone - Can recommend
1 of 1 found this helpful Great stone to throw in a pack that is capable of sharpening most modern steels containing vanadium carbides, as they require a substance such as diamonds to achieve a satisfactory result. Also great for axes, machetes, swords and anything where it is desirable to hold the object stable and move the stone instead of vice versa. Got my new Fiskars X7 razor sharp in only a few minutes! This stone coupled with a Lanksy "puck" style stone (in AUS a generic version costs ~ $10 found in the tools section of Bunnings) is a very powerful combination that can achieve a range of tasks from re-profiling a blade to honing the edge to razor sharp. For "scary sharp" results desirable on small knives leather strops can be used to finish the blades.
