Excellent mounting system if you use it !
This comes with a 45 degree for red-dot. It's even on both sides and can be unscrewed from the side you don't use (nice for lefties !)
Use some Loctite when fastening it and it'll keep your scope secure and ready for use for years to come.
DEFINITELY recommended !

Works well - but not with all magazines !
This is wonderfully easy and works quite well. Inserting a 1911-mag hasn't been easier AND it's still within the IPSC max width Classic Division (35mm outside diameter).
NB! NB! NB! Doesn't work as well with all 1911-magazines - they might need some adapting (ie. sandpapering !)....specifically the ACT MAGAZINES 1911 8-ROUND FULL SIZE MAGAZINE.
It does however work quite well with the MCCORMICK 1911 8 ROUND.
Like I said - nothing a little sandpaper or a file won't fix and the combined grip/magwell is well worth it !

Works well with TSG
Got this because I was tired of loading by hand (same reason I have the Maglula for other calibers). Found out this one would load the TSG mags and it does. Works very well ! Fits the mag, the plunger fits the loading lips of the mags and it works like a Maglula otherwise does.
Definitely recommended if you shot a little bit of .22 (and your TSG-slide works !)
