So Far So Good
1 of 1 found this helpful We have an 80 pound, 16 month old, still nutso, German Shepherd puppy. She has destroyed three dog beds left from previous dogs. They were all the soft mattress with cover type of bed. Stuffing was all over the house, and the covers made great tug-of-war pull toys. We felt really bad that she didn't have a bed to call her own, but also didn't want to buy a new one for her to destroy. We decided to give the Coolaroo a try. She loves it and so do we. She did start chewing the cover in one corner. My husband covered that corner with duct tape. After she got the tape chewed off she has, so far, left the cover alone. Might have helped that when she got hold of the duct tape she had little tiny pieces of it stuck to her fur, all over her body. We were pulling that stuff off for days. Maybe the duct tape was unpleasant enough to discourage the chewing but, fingers crossed, so far she has not chewed on the bed again.

Super easy to install
Just like the one hubby got at our cell carrier store .... for one third the price. Plus, it was very easy to install. Watched them put his on, in store, made me a little nervous. The handy dandy tray included made it nearly impossible to mess up.

Kids are Having a Ball
So far, so good. We just set it up in time for Easter. The littles are loving it. We have three and six year old grandkids. Even their grandpa and 6'4" daddy joined the fun. Somewhere I read that ten minutes on this was equal to thirty minutes running. Son-in-law felt it was pretty spot on and daughter said her fit-bit was reading it as steps. We live in rainy Oregon. With this on the covered deck they'll be able to get some outdoor fun without the winter mud.
Set up did take awhile but was not difficult. We were missing something, not a screw, something tiny and black. Not a big deal, you know, one of those things you often have many extras of but can't find when you need it. Not huge but did require a trip to Ace.
